The history and evolution of MBSR
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) was developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, a molecular biologist turned meditation teacher in the late 1970s. He adapted traditional Buddhist mindfulness practices into a secular, evidence-based program that could be used to treat various conditions such as high stress levels and chronic pain.
With extensive research demonstrating the effectiveness of the program, it gained popularity worldwide and has become the gold standard for applying mindfulness in everyday life.
Mindfulness in the workplace is now recommended by the National Health Service (NHS) and World Health Organisation (WHO). And the MBSR course offers an ideal way for organisations to create healthier, more successful working environments.

What our clients say
We put a few teams through the MBSR course and the feedback was incredibly positive. We also appreciated the effort to link in to our brand culture and values rather than delivering an off the shelf course.
A global financial institution
Thoroughly enjoyed the course, and we all took away so many tools and techniques for coping with stress both in and out of the workplace. An unexpected bonus was being able to use some of the learnings on my kids!
